Research & Development
We create specialty paper that is used in many different industries. With outstanding knowledge and experience in paper making technologies and impregnation, laminating, and other processing technologies, our researchers develop paper that has the diverse specifications required by users. Among other applications, our base paper for building materials and for medical use have earned tremendous confidence from the Japanese and overseas markets.
Capitalizing on unique technologies and creativity in an attempt to create innovative paper
We aspire to deliver our specialty paper as well as surprise. Aiming to create products incorporating leading-edge materials and technologies, we proceed with joint research and development with universities and customers and our achievements public by putting them on display in exhibitions. We organize factory tours and workshops for students to communicate the potential of specialty paper to the next generation. The eyes of the students light up at what they see, providing a hint at future developments.
